Law360, New York (June 18, 2010, 1:19 PM ET) -- Private equity firm Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. is planning to pick up job placement company Intelligence Ltd., a subsidiary of Tokyo-based cable broadcaster Usen Corp., for about $356 million.
KKR said Friday it had signed a definitive agreement to acquire Intelligence, which offers permanent and temporary job placement services and job search advertising, in a move that marks KKR’s first significant deal in Japan.
The companies said the acquisition was expected to close by the end of July.
