Law360, New York (July 01, 2010, 1:02 PM ET) -- Former Cravath Swaine & Moore LLP partner Francis P. Barron is joining Morgan Stanley as the financial services firm's chief legal officer, succeeding Gary G. Lynch, who will remain as a vice chairman for the company.
Barron will officially begin Sept. 7 and will report directly to Morgan Stanley President and CEO James P. Gorman, the company announced Thursday. He will be based in New York and will serve on the company's operating and management committees.
