Law360, New York (July 20, 2010, 4:52 PM ET) -- Two Fortress Investment Group LLC subsidiaries have accused Ruskin Moscou Faltischek PC of collaborating with disbarred fraudster Marc Dreier to swindle the hedge fund out of $50 million as part of his $400 million criminal Ponzi scheme.
In a lawsuit filed Tuesday in the Supreme Court of the State of New York, New York County, Fortress Credit Corp. and Fortress Credit Opportunities I LP said Ruskin Moscou issued “utterly false” legal opinion letters that the investment fund relied on, ultimately paying a hefty price.
