Law360, New York (September 08, 2010, 6:47 PM ET) -- Daniel Laikin, the former CEO of National Lampoon Inc., was sentenced to 45 months in prison Wednesday for conspiring to manipulate the company's stock price from March through June of 2008, federal prosecutors said.
Laikin had pleaded guilty in September 2009 to securities fraud in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania after he was accused of paying illegal kickbacks to generate buying interest in shares of the California-based media company.
