Ex-Hevesi Aide Reaches Pay-To-Play Plea Deal

Law360, New York (November 04, 2010, 3:52 PM ET) -- Henry “Hank” Morris, former head adviser to former New York state Comptroller Alan Hevesi, has reportedly reached a plea deal with Attorney General Andrew Cuomo over criminal charges in an alleged kickback scheme involving the state's largest pension fund.

But New York Supreme Court Judge Lewis Bart Stone said during a hearing on Thursday that he wasn't "willing to consider [the deal] on such short notice," according to a Bloomberg News account.
