Truck Stop Unloads Antitrust Suit On Comdata

Law360, New York (March 21, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- The owner of an independent truck stop is taking aim at credit card company Comdata Corp. and its parent Ceridian Corp. for allegedly monopolizing trucker fleet cars, consumer credit cards for truckers that provide special benefits to trucking companies.

The proposed class action, filed Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, was filed by Gap Truck Stop, a Lancaster County, Pa. owner and operator of one of 3,000 truck stops nationwide.
