Madoff Recovery Efforts Net Law Firms $44M

Law360, New York (December 14, 2010, 1:44 PM ET) -- A judge has awarded $44 million to Baker & Hostetler LLP and nine other firms working to recover funds lost in Bernard L. Madoff's notorious Ponzi scheme, saying the amount was warranted due to the recent slew of suits against JPMorgan Chase & Co., HSBC Holdings PLC and others.
