Tearful Chiesi Pleads Guilty To Insider Trading

Law360, New York (January 19, 2011, 6:00 PM ET) -- A sobbing Danielle Chiesi changed her plea to guilty Wednesday over allegations that she helped Raj Rajaratnam and others in the hedge fund industry pull off Galleon Group LLC's massive insider trading scheme.

Chiesi, who pled not guilty in 2009, told Judge Richard J. Holwell in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York that she had decided to plead guilty to three counts of conspiracy to commit securities fraud leveled against her as part of a plea agreement with the government....
