Law360, New York (January 31, 2011, 7:12 PM ET) -- A federal judge refused Monday to delay depositions in the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's case accusing Goldman Sachs Group Inc. executive Fabrice Tourre of rigging an investment vehicle tied to subprime mortgages to collapse.
Judge Barbara S. Jones of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York affirmed a magistrate judge's ruling denying Tourre's request to stay depositions, slated to begin Tuesday, until the completion of discovery and the resolution of his motion to dismiss.
