Law360, New York (April 12, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- Responding to allegations that TXU Corp. and the private equity firms vying to buy it may have acted illegally, a Texas legislator said he will send the case to the state attorney general for a deeper investigation.
The Texas Public Utility Commission on Tuesday alerted state Rep. Phil King to potentially shady activity by TXU and the companies hoping to take it over, Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. and Texas Pacific Group.
