Law360, New York (March 02, 2011, 4:28 PM ET) -- Attorneys for jailed financier and accused $8 million Ponzi fraudster Robert Allen Stanford told a Fifth Circuit panel Wednesday that his rights to a speedy trial had been repeatedly violated since his 2009 indictment.
Stanford is asking the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit to release him on bond while he awaits trial on charges he masterminded the scheme.
