Credit Suisse, Cushman Duck $24B Investor Action

Law360, New York (April 01, 2011, 7:37 PM ET) -- An Idaho federal judge on Thursday told property owners that they had to refile a $24 billion putative class action against Cushman & Wakefield Inc. and Credit Suisse Group AG alleging they swindled investors in four luxury resort communities.

Adopting many earlier recommendations from a magistrate judge, Judge Edward J. Lodge threw out fraud, negligence and all other claims against real estate firm Cushman & Wakefield, giving property owners until April 21 to refile the claims in the U.S. District Court for the District of Idaho....
