Rajaratnam Jurors Request Replay Of Wiretap Calls

Law360, New York (April 26, 2011, 7:35 PM ET) -- Jurors asked a New York federal court on Tuesday to replay tapes of wiretapped phone conversations between accused insider trader Raj Rajaratnam and alleged co-conspirators, including a call that prosecutors say indicates efforts to cover his tracks.

The 14-count indictment lodged against Rajaratnam charges the Sri Lankan-born hedge fund executive with engaging in five separate conspiracies, as well as eight counts of substantive securities fraud in connection with insider trading.
