Law360, New York (April 27, 2011, 5:50 PM ET) -- Two former Bank of America NA tellers hit the bank with a class action in California state court Tuesday, claiming tellers are forced to stand for the duration of their shifts in violation of state law.
Rhonique Green and Olivia Giddings, both of whom worked as BofA tellers, filed a complaint accusing the bank of making tellers stand despite a California law that requires employers to provide seats whenever the nature of the work reasonably permits their use.
