Ex-Pimco Head Settles With SEC

Law360, New York (May 16, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- After shelling out more than a half million dollars last fall to settle fraud charges, the former chairman of Pimco Advisors Fund Management LLC has agreed to pay a $75,000 civil penalty over his alleged failure to disclose a conflict of interest.

On Monday, the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission revealed that Stephen Treadway had agreed to the settlement, though he neither admitted nor denied the accusations contained in the complaint.
