Law360, New York (June 08, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- A judge has approved the appointment of a parter at Kirkpatrick & Lockhart Preston Gates Ellis LLP to serve as the examiner in New Century Financial Corp.'s Chapter 11 proceedings.
Michael J. Missal, who specializes in internal investigations and securities enforcement matters, was confirmed by Judge Kevin J. Carey of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware on Thursday.
