Law360, New York (June 22, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- Parmalat SpA Chief Executive Enrico Bondi has accused Bank of America Corp. of playing a game of “semantic gymnastics” by filing an onslaught of motions and letters seeking to force him to turn over documents containing information about his relationship with PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Bondi said in court documents filed June 21 that the bank's June 20 motion to overrule Bondi's claim of privilege over letters held by PwC should be stricken and denied because it constitutes “an abuse of the court's procedures.”
