Law360, New York (July 11, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- An Ohio grand jury has indicted eight former executives of collapsed health care finance company National Century Financial Enterprises for allegedly fleecing investors out of billions of dollars.
The U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Ohio announced the 27-count indictment in a statement Tuesday, saying the government was seeking the forfeiture of almost $2 billion in proceeds from the alleged conspiracy.
