Law360, New York (February 21, 2012, 4:11 PM ET) -- AllianceBernstein LP on Thursday went after a former employee in New York state court, accusing the financial adviser of using trade secrets to lure clients to JPMorgan Chase & Co., where he now works.
Todd Richman, who advised clients in AllianceBernstein's New York office for several years, allegedly took confidential business information, such as client lists and contacts, to his financial adviser position at JPMorgan, in violation of confidentiality and nonsolicitation agreements he signed with his former employer, the complaint says.
