Law360, New York (March 02, 2012, 4:56 PM ET) -- Barclays Bank PLC on Thursday sued an English property developer who had interests in U.S. professional soccer and has appeared on reality television shows, claiming he skipped out on repaying an $8 million loan issued in the U.K.
The suit, filed in New York state court, claims that Paul Kemsley — who recently stepped down as chairman and CEO of the revived New York Cosmos soccer franchise — has not honored repayment agreements after his property business, Rock Joint Ventures Ltd., went bust in 2009....
