Law360, New York (March 02, 2012, 5:17 PM ET) -- Criminal prosecutors who brought insider trading charges against former Goldman Sachs Group Inc. director Rajat Gupta have been grooming Goldman CEO Lloyd Blankfein to testify, Gupta's lawyers said Friday.
Prosecutors from the U.S. attorney's office in New York and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission have met with Blankfein twice to prepare him for a deposition with Gupta's defense team, Gupta's lawyers wrote in a letter to U.S. District Judge Jed S. Rakoff.
