Law360, New York (August 20, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- A dispute between the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey and several insurance companies over liability for the destruction of the World Trade Center continued Friday, with each side strongly opposing the other's motions for summary judgment.
In a memorandum of law filed with the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, the Port Authority reiterated that real estate developer Larry Silverstein had not performed his indemnification obligations, and that the properties were therefore still covered by insurance.
