Law360, New York (August 29, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- A lawyer for the founders of bankrupt Adelphia Communications Corp. has filed a petition to a Pennsylvania state court to block moves by auditors Deloitte & Touche LLP to withdraw their fraud case against the family.
The Rigas family attorney Lawrence McMichael, of Philadelphia firm Dilworth Paxson LLP, filed the petition to the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas Tuesday, asking the judge to strike the discontinuance filed by Deloitte last week.
