JPMorgan Faces Fewer Claims In Mortgage Modification MDL

Law360, New York (July 27, 2012, 5:16 PM ET) -- A Massachusetts federal judge on Friday trimmed claims from multidistrict litigation accusing JPMorgan Chase Bank NA of breaching mortgage modification agreements or otherwise botching the mortgage modification process for distressed homeowners under the federal Home Affordable Modification Program.

The MDL, which brought together several homeowner lawsuits in October, involves four groups of plaintiffs.
