BofA's "Keep The Change" Triggers More Litigation

Law360, New York (December 04, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- Just after it was tossed from one patent suit over its "Keep the Change" program, Bank of America NA was sued by a different inventor Monday over a different patent.

Barton Patent 533 LLC, the vehicle of inventor Blain Barton, filed its suit in a Jefferson City, Mo., district court over U.S. Patent Number 6,164,533, issued Dec. 26, 2000, for a “point of sale automatic savings program contribution system.”
