Law360, New York (October 04, 2005, 12:00 AM ET) -- A company targeted by Data Treasury Corp. in its far-flung patent lawsuit against major banks over electronic check technology has fired back with a lawsuit of its own, seeking to invalidate the patents due to material misrepresentations and inequitable conduct before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
Viewpointe Archive Services, a check image storage company partially owned by Bank of America, J.P. Morgan Chase and IBM, has filed a counterclaim against DataTreasury in a Texas federal court, court documents show.
