Law360, New York (November 08, 2005, 12:00 AM ET) -- Check processing company DataTreasury Corporation is continuing to wage its David-and-Goliath patent war against the world's biggest financial institutions, winning a settlement and licensing agreement in its lawsuit against France’s Groupe Ingenico.
Ingenico, a producer of point-of-sale electronic transaction terminals, agreed to the settlement on the same day the case was scheduled to go to trial in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
