Law360, New York (April 09, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- The company that purchased American Home Mortgage Corp.’s loan servicing business many months ago is now pushing the bankruptcy court to force the bankrupt lender to close the deal.
AH Mortgage Acquisition Co. Inc filed a motion Tuesday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware seeking to compel AHM to effectuate the final closing of the $500 million sale, which initially closed in November.
When AHM filed for Chapter 11 in August, its servicing platform was one of its most valuable assets....
