Law360, New York (April 22, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- Two weeks after booting the couple's counsel, a federal district judge has tossed Thomas and Pamela McIntosh's fraud claims against State Farm Fire & Casualty Co., unconvinced that the insurance giant manipulated engineering reports to escape paying the couple's insurance policy after Hurricane Katrina.
On Monday, U.S. District Judge L.T. Senter Jr. bounced the fraud claims brought by the McIntoshes, who filed suit against State Farm after the insurer paid the couple $36,228 for the damage their home incurred at the hands of Hurricane Katrina....
