Delta Financial Faces New Wage-And-Hour Suit

Law360, New York (May 02, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- Former loan officers of Fidelity Mortgage Inc. have brought a purported class action against its bankrupt parent company, Delta Financial Corp., over alleged wage-and-hour violations.

The plaintiffs, who are seeking classes under New York and Ohio laws, lodged the suit in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware on Thursday, alleging that Delta Financial failed to pay them overtime wages in violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act and parallel state laws.
