Law360, New York (September 03, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- Compass Bancshares Inc. has become the latest company to settle a patent infringement suit over check-imaging technology brought by DataTreasury Corp.
In a motion filed Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, DataTreasury, Compass Bancshares and its subsidiary Compass Bank said that they had reached a settlement and license agreement and asked the court to dismiss all claims and counterclaims between them.
Details of the settlement were not disclosed. Attorneys for DataTreasury and Compass could not immediately be reached for comment...
