Law360, New York (September 04, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- The brother of the former accountant of collapsed hedge fund Bayou Group LLC pled guilty on Wednesday to one count of concealing fraud from investors, according to the U.S. attorney's office.
Matthew Marino will face a maximum of three years in prison, a fine of $250,000 — or twice the gross gain or loss resulting from the crime — and restitution of no more than $300,000 when he is sentenced Dec. 4 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
