Davis Polk Snags Veteran SEC Deputy Director

Law360, New York (February 02, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- After more than 27 years of service, the deputy director of the Trading and Markets Division at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission will leave the agency in February to join the Washington, D.C., office of Davis Polk & Wardwell, the SEC announced Monday.

Robert L.D. Colby has served as deputy director of the SEC's Division of Trading and Markets since 1993. He joined the SEC as a staff attorney in 1981.
