UAW Strikes Deal With GM On Labor Agreement

Law360, New York (May 21, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- The United Auto Workers union said Thursday it had reached a tentative deal with General Motors Corp. and the U.S. Treasury on modifications to its 2007 collective bargaining agreement with GM and to a union retiree health care trust, as the government's June 1 deadline for GM to improve its business or seek bankruptcy protection approaches.
