Law360, New York (August 28, 2009, 5:53 PM ET) -- A bankruptcy judge has reportedly ruled that a court-appointed examiner will investigate Trump Entertainment Resorts Inc.’s plan of reorganization, granting a request by noteholders who are trying to introduce their own rival plan.
Judge Judith Wizmur of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey on Thursday granted the noteholders' request for an examination into whether Trump Entertainment acted in good faith when it proposed its plan, which would give founder Donald Trump and Beal Bank control of the company, Bloomberg reported.
