MIG Objects To Creditors' Calls For Ch. 11 Trustee

Law360, New York (September 28, 2009, 5:02 PM ET) -- Bankrupt telecommunications holding company Metromedia International Group Inc. fired back at creditors pushing for the appointment of a Chapter 11 trustee and the termination of its exclusivity period, denying allegations that it filed for bankruptcy in bad faith.

In an objection lodged Friday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, MIG denied allegations from the unsecured creditors committee that it attempted to devalue its assets to the detriment of its stakeholders.
