Texas Comptroller Objects To Stallion's Ch. 11 Plan

Law360, New York (November 25, 2009, 4:59 PM ET) -- Texas' Comptroller of Public Accounts Susan Combs has objected to the confirmation of a disclosure statement by Stallion Oilfield Services Ltd., saying the bankrupt well-site support company's plan is too short on details.

The Texas comptroller, which has a $76,000 priority tax claim against a Stallion company, filed its objection Tuesday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware. On Nov. 19, Stallion won court approval of its disclosure statement, along with a prepackaged plan designed in cooperation with its creditors.
