Law360, New York (January 13, 2010, 3:58 PM ET) -- Flash memory chip maker Spansion Inc. has asked a bankruptcy judge to determine the maximum amount of any administrative expense claim rival Tessera Inc. might make in relation to its patent infringement claims against Spansion, saying Tessera's claims won't undermine the feasibility of Spansion's Chapter 11 plan of reorganization.
In a Tuesday motion in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, Spansion asked the court to determine the maximum amount of alleged potential liability to Tessera without examining underlying liability issues.
