Law360, New York (July 20, 2010, 3:44 PM ET) -- United Airlines Inc. has ended its fight with bankrupt Mesa Air Group Inc. over a regional air service contract, following a bankruptcy judge's decision that United can sue the budget airline outside of its Chapter 11 proceedings.
Judge Martin Glenn of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York signed off on the deal on Friday, allowing United and Mesa to end a contract fight in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
