Law360, New York (November 17, 2010, 2:21 PM ET) -- American Media Inc., publisher of the National Enquirer and Star supermarket tabloids, has filed a prepackaged Chapter 11 plan, aiming to emerge from bankruptcy in 60 days.
In a bankruptcy petition filed Wednesday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York, American Media lists assets of between $0 and $50,000 and debts of between $500 million and $1 billion.
