DOI To Pay $5M To Settle BearingPoint Contract Suits

Law360, New York (June 08, 2011, 1:33 PM ET) -- The U.S. Department of the Interior agreed Tuesday to drop a $47 million claim and instead cough up a $5 million judgment in order to settle two suits brought by once-bankrupt technology consulting firm BearingPoint Inc. over a canceled contract.
