Law360, New York (August 29, 2011, 6:37 PM ET) -- The owners of the rights to the popular “Yu-Gi-Oh!” Japanese manga told a New York bankruptcy judge Monday that children's entertainment company 4Kids Entertainment Inc. had underpaid them royalties by over $4 million.
"This case at its core is about a betrayal of trust," said Kyle C. Bisceglie of Olshan Grundman Frome Rosenzweig & Wolosky LLP, an attorney for TV Tokyo Corp. and Nihon Ad Systems Inc., during opening arguments in the trial over royalty payments.
