Law360, New York (October 20, 2011, 4:55 PM ET) -- A federal judge in Pennsylvania on Thursday sentenced the former CEO of bankrupt beverage maker Le-Nature's Inc. to 20 years in prison for his role in a $668 million accounting fraud.
Gregory Podlucky, who pled guilty in June to money laundering and tax and securities fraud, must also serve five years of supervised release. U.S. District Judge Alan N. Bloch rejected Podlucky's plea for leniency, siding with prosecutors who sought the two-decade term.
