Law360, New York (November 10, 2011, 6:16 PM ET) -- The White House has agreed to comply with a congressional subpoena for more materials related to the U.S. Department of Energy's $535 million loan guarantee to bankrupt solar panel firm Solyndra LLC, the House Energy and Commerce Committee said Thursday.
House Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman Fred Upton, R-Mich., and subcommittee on oversight and investigations Chairman Cliff Stearns, R-Fla., said that the White House Counsel’s Office told lawmakers that it would start providing responsive materials to the subpoena, which was issued Nov. 3.
