Real Mex Asset Sale Raises Privacy Concerns: Trustee

Law360, New York (January 19, 2012, 3:06 PM ET) -- A bankruptcy settlement proposed by Real Mex Restaurants Inc. doesn't do enough to protect consumers' private information, the U.S. trustee assigned to the case said Wednesday.

Roberta A. DeAngelis, the U.S. trustee for Delaware, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, objected to a proposed sale of Real Mex's assets and asked the Delaware bankruptcy judge overseeing the case to block it until her privacy concerns are addressed.
