Dodgers Want Beaten Fan's Bankruptcy Claim Tossed

Law360, New York (February 03, 2012, 9:39 PM ET) -- The Los Angeles Dodgers LLC asked a Delaware bankruptcy judge on Friday to toss a claim lodged by Bryan Stow, the San Francisco Giants fan who suffered severe injuries after being attacked last year following the Dodgers' home opener, saying it couldn’t be held liable.

The Dodgers, who recently unveiled a reorganization plan to exit Chapter 11, said in a summary judgment motion that Stow’s punitive damages claim should be dismissed as a matter of law because he can’t offer any evidence of additional security steps...
