Dewey, Ex-Partners Hire Counsel As Bankruptcy Looms

Law360, New York (May 22, 2012, 4:37 PM ET) -- The pieces began to fall into place Tuesday as Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP appointed a restructuring adviser and former partners retained defense counsel amid reports that the troubled firm has started to prepare for a possible bankruptcy. 

Representatives for various firms confirmed their role in a possible Dewey bankruptcy Tuesday as the distressed firm saw additional partner departures, including the former co-chairs of Dewey’s international trade and employment dispute practices.
