Law360, Wilmington (May 22, 2012, 10:15 PM ET) -- Atlanta-based transporter Allied Systems Holdings Inc. on Monday sought to move the locale of its involuntary Chapter 11 from Delaware to Georgia, claiming convenience and a still-open bankruptcy proceeding there merit the transfer.
In a status conference in Wilmington on Tuesday, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Christopher S. Sontchi heard from the parties — all of whom participated by telephone — and said he would consider the venue transfer motion before any others.
