Lehman Creditors Drop Suit After Quizzing Geithner

Law360, New York (June 18, 2012, 10:02 PM ET) -- Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. creditors dropped their suit against Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner on Monday after he agreed to answer their questions about conversations he had with Lehman and JPMorgan Chase Bank NA executives in the days before Lehman collapsed in 2008.

In an order filed in the District of Columbia, U.S. District Judge Reggie B. Walton dismissed the case against Geithner after the official committee of unsecured creditors voluntarily dropped the suit.
