Law360, Wilmington (July 06, 2012, 10:32 PM ET) -- Ten days after reaching an agreement in principle following months of feuding, parties in Syms Corp.'s Chapter 11 case called on a Delaware judge Friday to determine the fate of Monday's scheduled hearing on the new plan's disclosure statement.
Summoned from vacation, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Kevin J. Carey presided over the telephone conference — the only item on the entire Wilmington calendar — brought about by a creditors committee motion seeking to delay Monday's scheduled hearing until the end of the week.
